Review: SKECHERS DOGGONE COMFY

Skechers Go Golf 4 – Dogs At Play

I love things that support a cause, especially ones near and dear to my heart.  Therefore, my first review of shoes from the PGA Show is for Skechers because they have a shoe that supports our furry four-legged friends.  A portion of their proceeds goes to support the Petco Foundation.

That said, Skechers has released their Spring 2020 line and I’m so excited!  I ordered two NEW pairs of Skechers — the SKECHERS GO GOLF PRO and the SKECHERS GO GOLF DRIVE 4 – DOGS AT PLAY to take on vacation with me.  I have friends who swear by these shoes for their comfort and styling, and now I know why.  In particular, I have one girlfriend that basically has a pair of Skechers for golf in every color and style.  They are no longer just a gym or quirky walk-about shoe and they are reasonably-priced and of good quality.

SKECHERS GO GOLF PRO

Like a kid in the candy store, I couldn’t wait to try them out.  I wore the SKECHERS GO GOLF PRO V.2 for an 18-hole round the other day while I was still at home.  Price: $110. I have to tell you, these were like wearing slippers except they were actually better, if you can imagine that.  The cushioning was amazing.  For the first time in forever, my feet didn’t hurt after my round.  I usually cannot wait to get into a pair of flip flops after I play.  Not necessary if you wear SKECHERS.  These were ultra comfy AND gave me the support I needed because these had the soft spikes.  They are made of a synthetic leather which is waterproof (great for my trip to Ireland later this summer!).  Since then I’ve worn them quite a few times during my vacation and I still have the same reaction — I’m amazed at how good they feel.  My legs don’t hurt and my feet don’t hurt.  If that’s an issue for you, try these shoes.

Skechers Go Golf 4 – Dogs At Play

From the minute I posted this photo, I’ve had a lot of people ask about these shoes!  I’ve now worn my new SKECHERS GO GOLF DRIVE 4 – DOGS AT PLAY quite a few times while on vacation.  They happen to go with everything!  Price: $85.  Again, these are ultra comfortable. They are more of a sneaker-street style and don’t have soft spikes, but many high-end golf shoes now have traction sole designs. The best part is they have dog caricatures printed on the outside of the shoe itself!  Even better, for every purchase of these, Skechers makes a donation to the Petco Foundation to help dogs and cats.  What’s better than wearing a cute shoe and helping our furry friends?  These shoes do have some water repellent properties but since they are made of leather, I wouldn’t recommend wearing them in inclement weather.

Both shoes fit true to size.  They have the maker’s Goga Max technology which is a super-comfy insole and are extremely light weight.  I hope to soon review the SKECHERS GO GOLF DRIVE – SHIMMER and the SKECHERS GO GOLF MAX – GLITTER because who doesn’t need black golf shoes?
